"Best New Zealand style meal pies. Honestly even better than the ones I’ve had in New Zealand! I bought 3 frozen pies to bring home and will probably go back for lunch tomorrow while I’m still at June Lake"

"What a fantastic addition to June Lake! I was so happy to discover it. They sell New Zealand meat and dessert pies, including steak, shepherd's pie, and butter chicken. I got their butter chicken pie and an apple pie. They tasted absolutely amazing. Moist and flaky crust, lots of filling, and everything tasted fresh. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors, they also have a cozy corner with a woodburning stove. Outside they have a patio that overlooks the town. The owner is so nice. Prices are great. I'll definitely be back!"

"The best meat pie I have ever had! The ground beef and cheese pie was incredibly delicious. The crust was perfectly crisp and light, the filling was made with locally sourced beef from Bishop, and the cheese added just the right amount of gooey goodness. The owners were so kind, welcoming, and informative, which made the experience even better. We picked up our pies to go, and they were still hot by the time we got back to our place down the street. We will definitely be returning to try more flavors!"

"Stopped for a latte, cappucino and a lemon cheesecake slice plus an apple hand pie. This place has been here only for 6 months and it’s the only place between Walker and Mammoth that has coffee! We had a great chat with the owner - lots of options for meat pies & pastries. Two single bathrooms in the back"

"Wow wow wow!!!! We have struggled with finding any decent food to eat in the entire mammoth Lake area. This place hands-down is the best food we've had in two visits to the area. The New Zealand meat pies are incredible! I'm a pastry chef and very critical of anything pastry and I have no complaints about these. The pastry is perfect, fluffy and crisp on the outside with plenty of filling, not dry, not soggy, just right. Meat fillings are very flavorful.Wow wow wow! The best! Highly recommend the butter chicken, ground beef and cheese and steak!!!!"
